This is a good price for Lebda who is a solid # 4 0r 5 defenseman who has skating speed and skills. You need depth to make it through the playoffs and this is one more piece of the puzzle. It couldn't hurt game habits that he has played with Lindstrom his whole NHL career. Good solid player. Quit whining Leafs fans and pull your faces out of the fantasy stat sheet and get a grasp on reality. You sign a good player who has integrity and skills. Man you guys cry alot don't you?

Thanks, for some reason those weren't showing up when I went there myself. Maybe it was a slightly different URL or an older article or something.

That's ALL Lebda brings to the table at this point. Speed and speed only. Not sure which player you thought you were watching. But Lebda's passing ability is nothing to write home about. His shot has seamed to get worse and worse over the past few years. And he's atrocious defensively. But atleast it sounds like he's great at buying beer. He'll be able to buy even more beer with that insane pay raise Burke just gave him.

I was thinking maybe he witnessed some crime Burke committed but the contract isn't that insane for him.
