Another interesting thing I just noticed about Colorado.... they are the highest scoring team in the Western Conference. They're offense looks lethal; 52 goals in 15 games.

The Wings have actually managed a higher goals per game than them so far, though only by a 0.03 margin.

They've struggled with the Avs the last few seasons, probably not for any real reason, but ought to take advantage of their current predicament and get a couple points.

They may have the most goals, but they are only a +5 differential. They score a lot, but they give up just about as many goals. Should be a high scoring game!

The Wings record against Colorado the past few years isn't too great. They need to get back to winning against them. I'm sure they remember the last game that they gave away. Hope to see some dominating puck possession from them.

Have to miss this one. We're having a benefit for my friend who has cancer. She's going to be fine  , but she also has MS, so it's been a battle.

Wings need to win this one for those of us who are old enough that we just can't get over the rivalry even if the other team is hardly rival-ish.

Let's have another 6-2 victory, shall we?

Huds and Flip with the hat tricks. The debate rages on.

Abdelakders gonna come out hitting like a truck I hope, lids is gonna shut Chris Stewart down, theres going to be a fight and on TSN they will mention the rivalry again as they show the highlight, and Datsyuk will do something sweet.

That is all

All the more reason why we need our "scoring" forwards to score. I'm looking at you Hudler!!

My brother lives in Denver and occasionally hangs out with Yip and a few others, hopefully they all went out partying late last night.

Yip always seems to tear us up for some reason. Aves are one of those teams that seems to just step it up against us. But come on, they have PETR BUDAJ.

I expect a win here by the boys, the top of the West is too darn close, lets keep getting some points!!!

I want to see Hudler score a goal. And Mule. And Pavs and Lids to keep the streaks going.

LETS GO WINGS

AND they played last night and won big. So they'll relax tonight. ..Can we go with that?

I must admit I sort of miss the old days when I would foam at the mouth at the very mention of their name. Ah yez, kids. Where is the Turtle when we need him?

Me, too. I used to get really amped for Colorado games, they were must-see games. Of course I try to see every Wings game I can, but Colorado is just another average team in the league to me. Too bad, that rivalry was beyond legendary.
