Gotta win ugly some nights...this appears to be one of those nights. :yowza:

I'd rather win ugly than lose pretty. No one cares how good you look if you lose.

Remember much, MUCH too well the hog-copulating Avacramps of the 90's. Will never forget, will NEVER forgive.

No need to hold on to it so long, we dealt with it. Things have moved on.

No one says you have to like them but the guy took a slapper in the face. Have some common sense.

Unless it's Homer getting hit, obviously. Eff O'Halloran.
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

end of the first period, a wing takes a puck to the face.

end of the second period, an ave takes a puck to the face.

And how many of those Avs are still playing today? I hated the Avs as much as anyone back in the day, but that rivalry is over. Shattenkirk (the Av who got hit) was 9 when that rivalry was in it's heyday. I don't think you really need to hold THAT much of a grudge against him.

And even then, I wouldn't have celebrated for any player getting smashed in the face with a puck. I like to believe that's what makes our fanbase better than theirs...

"And the best, I must confess, I have saved for the last, for the ruler of this Christmas land,

is a fearsome king with a deep mighty voice, least, that's what I've come to understand.

And I've also heard it told, that he's something to behold, like a lobster, huge and red!

When he sets out to slay with his rain gear on, carting bulging sacks with his big great arms, that is so I've heard it said.

And on a dark cold night, under full moon light, he flies into a fog like a vulture in the sky!

And they call him Sandy Claws!

Yup. Both teams are figure skaters now. Let it go.

I hate Foote forever but I can`t cheer if he takes one in that big ugly beak but I wouldn`t mind seeing take one off the ankle.

Ugh. Another commercial to hate. Makes me so glad I don't have cable anymore so I'm not inundated with such commercials anymore.

Funny that the forecast IS for rain that day.

I'm certainly not an Osgood fan, but I will say this is his best game in 2 years that I can remember - even given the bad goal in the first.

I hear what you're saying. But...no whistle on Cleary's injury last game either. Broken feet are serious.
