I'll be there for this one, kinda pissed that Flip won't be playing. Hopefully I can bump into Steve and get a picture with him or something :fingerscrossed:. I expect a high scoring game, at least 7 combined goals, but I fully expect us to come out on top, we seemed to have turned things around since getting most of our forwards back, and having Stuart back will help stabilize the defense.

I just read the first bit of news as "Crosby sure he'll retire this year" and I had no idea how to react. You rock, Hockeytown.

Can't wait for this. Going to another wings viewing party at Motor City Casino Soundboard with some friends and some guys from our hockey team. Should be great fun. (hopefully I'll win something substantial this time...not just a beer cozy or a mousepad from 2009...)
Wish List: Stanley Cup!

Then we will have nobody to rip on every single chance we get :(

If we get a win tonight, I think tomorrow is a W for sure as well as Sunday. Be nice to have a 5 game winning streak going into Tuesday vs. Sharks and Thursday vs Stars. We also got a shot at winning those 2 as well.

Watch out VAN...
Crosby is a crybaby *****

Been obsessed with Steve Yzerman since I was 5 years old (back in 1989). So naturally Tampa Bay instantly became my second favorite NHL team once Stevie took over the reigns. And I've rooted for them all year. But tonight if a different story. GO RED WINGS BABY!!! TAKE IT TO 'EM!!!

That was the Z, seperated-shoulder hit...right?
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

I am super excited! I never get to see the wings play live, and will be sitting lower level on the blue line! If any of you redwingers want to meet up pregame, message me something.

Looking forward to seeing Stuart back tonight. I'm sure Stevie is excited about this game too, but we will win this one.

Go Wings!

I still remember being pissed about it, but not pissed about it, as it was a clean hit.
