I have a feeling Ty is done as a Wing Willing to bet we see MacDonald tonight and I'm sure they'll play well. Wonder if they spent Sunday golfing and watching the Superbowl instead of working on the PP.

Totally agree with this. Hope the ultra negative posters have cheered up a bit from last game . 3-1 wings win.

I'm not concerned with which goalie starts.

If the team can't convert on powerplays and/or stops playing before the end of the period and/or doesn't give the goalie any help, the results will not be what we want.

Hopefully they learned that it is easier to take the lead than to catch up to the lead.

I have a few things....

1) Thanks for the GDT Hockeytown! Always looks nice.

2) I hope our PP shows up tonight. The coyotes give up the least about of penalties in the league so if we get them, we HAVE to capitalize.

3) Really proud of JoeyMac Saturday for stepping up and showing he can be a quality goalie. (not sure about the long run however)

4) I really don't want to see Ty go but I just feel like it's going to happen.

5) The picture of the Phenoix Arena (JoBing.com Arena) looks like it was taking before all the Red Wings fans got there.

4-3 wings in OT(SO). Yotes will step up their game because it is the Wings and they will have a decent number of fans in the barn tonight(although a lot won't be cheering for the Home club

Incidently, who are the programming genuises at NBCSN? Primetime Wings vs. Yotes in Phoenix? Is this the best matchup in the NHL tonight? Don't get me wrong, I'll take every televised Wing game I can, but it kinda seems like a waste. Save those national spots for when we play a serious rival!

Since Babs refuses to put the Eurotwins together I want him to stick to his changes from last game because Pavs has looked out of energy since post- all star break so I think he just needs to get energized with a new line.

Filpulla- Datsyuk- Hudler (I think this can be a fun line with great speed and will force all of them to shoot more)

Franzen- Zetterberg- Bert (Clearly the addition of Bert really opened the ice up for Hank and he was flying last game in the 3rd so hopefully he can keep it up)

Then the regular 3rd and 4th lines which have been very good.

On defense, I want to see Nick shooting the puck more I am tired of White taking all the shots... Nick simply has a way better shot but is not shooting enough.

As for the powerplay units I would like to see:

Filpulla- Datsyuk- Homer

White- Lidstrom (This will give Pavs a line where he HAS to shoot the puck more and will move around well rather then stand around passing the puck like the powerplay has been doing)

Franzen- Zetterberg- Bertuzzi

Hudler- Kronwall (Big bodies, but Babs needs them to get open and SHOOT)
