To cheer everyone up:

Tigers right-handerJustin Verlander said yesterday morning on WXYZ-TV that he wants to stay in Detroit forever, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports. " I think that it's a very unique city, the people here are fantastic, it's unbelievable," Verlander said.

Hell yes!... I always did love going downtown for a Tigers/Wings game, everybody's really laid back if you're in the right neighborhood.

Blocked shots 15-4 in favor of the Wings? Gotta tell ya, I don't know about that. And here I thought the home team usually got the benefit of the doubt with the statisticians.

That's a surprise. Maybe they gave Kronwall points for pain. The one he blocked looked like it hurt pretty badly.

I have to crash. Long weekend and too much time on the road today, had to play for a student's college audition.

It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

Back from work. Time to start playing well and come back.

I think this ice surface has done a better job defending the Wings than the Yotes have tonight.

There's been enough turnovers in this game to last the rest of the season.

Ericsson.....go back to peewee hockey.
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

Anybody else frustrated that this team has yet to learn how to NOT look so disinterested in playing teams with a lot worse records than them???
