Good to hear, Stevie did an awesome job last time so I'm glad to hear he got the nod again. Bring back the Gold!

People around here will hate me for rooting for Canada but I don't care about the Olympics, I want Stevie Y to get the gold

Well if he can handle that, he can sure handle playing in the next WC Alumni game.

Good news. Stevie made the right moves last time around, albeit some that people didn't agree with (Getzlaf at less then 100%, Bergeron as the extra forward) he got the job done and his moves paid off. Keep it up Stevie

No surprise there. Best of luck to Stevie and presumably head coach Babcock, as long as it isn't against the US.

Crosby won't be there to save the nation.

Hopefully, Russia and the US will be playing for the Gold this time.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Crosby did very little in the last Olympics as well, at least until the finals. Even then, him being in position to score the winner was the result of a fortuitous bounce off a linesman.

Bring the Gold, to the Red White and Blue.

I love to cheer for Yzerman, Holland, and Co, but not when it's for Team Canada.

Well. Team Canada has some "Red" in them.

Sounds like his Stanley Cup Finals performances. :P

Forget Crosby. Nash is the man for team Canada.

The NHL and NHLPA are still uncommitted to the Sochi Olympics.

Officially, anyway. It's a bargaining chip for the CBA.

Several of the Russian players are pretty much going whether anyone likes it or not.

Money on the board:  Current total: $6

$1 for a goal by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster.  An additional $5 for a series-clinching goal scored by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster. $5 if the other team fails to score against a current Wing goalie after whom I have named a hamster.

Hamsters I have had:  (current Wings highlighted)

Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

Niklas Matthew Daniel Robert

Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

Jordin Damien Gustav James
