Staying out of the penalty box will be key. The Oilers are ranked something like #3 in PP% this season.

Agreed. As quick as the Oilers are, that may be difficult.

cleary, kronner, dats for The D
and Eberle scores for The Oil.
since my friend is dating Jordan Eberle and will be a great player for years to come.

Two games in 22 1/2 hours for the Wings. Both games are early starts. The kids should get a lot of ice time.

I'll probably miss the start since my bff is in town and we never get to see each other, but I'll rush through lunch with her and get here ASAP.

 

So, will it be a game of the Titans carrying the weight on their shoulders, or will the Children lead them?  Perhaps another Revenge of the LGW Whipping Boys?

 

I'll say...

Wings 2:  Kronner (he's due!), Mule (waived off since Homer is attending), Miller

Oilers 1:  lucky shot bouncing off the buttocks of someone turtling in fear of Tootoo


Money on the board:  $40

Thanks for a great season, guys.  You exceeded expectations and have given us something to look forward to as the long summer approaches.

 

And next year we get to start in October, like hockey is SUPPOSED to.

I really used to hate the Oilers after 2006 and when they employed Chris Pronger. This new squad is really fun to watch, though... Probably the funnest of the "let's tank it for six straight years and get high picks rebuilding method" teams. Jordan Eberle is becoming my favorite non Wing.

No predictions here. Just take care of business today because tomorrow is going to be a tough one.
