That's typical of this season so far. Red Wings deserved to win tonight. Proud of the effort at least to keep battling.

Unfortunately, points are very critical and failing to get the extra one to a division opponent hurts. Extended losing streaks are not ideal when you were going to struggle to make the playoffs regardless.

Datsyuk 4-on-4 for all five minutes would be superb. Watch Babs have him out there with Cleary and he'll get caught in the Nashville zone leading to an odd-man rush the other way.

Shut your mouth when you're talking to us! Babcock is that you?

Well, the way I see it, three losses in a 48 game schedule is roughly the equivalent of 6 losses.

Ah, skewed math. Makes sense now! Carry on!

Datsyuk did everything tonight, which makes that ending suck even more. The poor talented bastard is stuck dragging around Cleary and Abdelkader the whole game. The team was on his back tonight. Thanks for the point, Pasha...

Babcock's lines are absurd, even with the injuries. The powerplay is sad. Let the best shot on the team Brunner play wing and hang around the crease, it's where he is getting his goals.

You aren't on a losing streak until you lose 20 in a row, trust me i know what a 20 game losing streak looks like

Fan of the Wings back in the 70s and 80s? :D

So typical. The Wings lose on a shot wide that can't get covered on the far side..

Why does it feel like this is the way they always lose? I would have rather lost in the shootout than that.

Emmerton has really improved since last season, good energy, working every shift. One of those games where you get 1pt when you deserve 2 Wings have been on the other end of that many times too sucks on this end. The way they responded after going down 2 early shows that they are a playoff team and when they are healthy i think it will turn around.

I wonder if we can que the mass exodus of Wings fans from these forums to the Blackhawks or Canucks forums yet.

Not yet?

Maybe after we barely make the playoffs then.

Clearly might be more frustrating to watch than at any moment Hudler was on the team. Yikes.

Uh.....I would have to say I think you are....right.....ugh. :bad:

No, I do not want Hudler back...just shed Cleary, Franzinem Q and K and then all will be good!

I cannot believe Babcock putting Cleary out there...WTF does Danny have on him?

This team is really emotionally depleting to watch. Flashes of brilliance backed up by pure stupidity. It would be one thing if this was the fault of the rookies but it's not.

Ah, skewed math. Makes sense now! Carry on!

Well, I should have said 3 losses in a 48 game schedule equals 5.125 games lost compared to a full length season. I didn't want to do the actual math, but you went and made me do it, thanks!

Keep talking like that, and you'll be the one making the exodus, most likely. :nono:

Dan Cleary played 21 minutes tonight.............

How could they lose???

I don't understand it either, he scored but I would score playing on Datsyuk's line eventually. He needs to have bottom 6 minutes, i would move Miller up, he works and goes hard to the net.

The most frustrating part was seeing the Red Wings completely control play in the third and then Nashville gets two rather flukey goals after generating nothing at all. Pretty fortunate win for them and kind of fitting for the Red Wings fortunes lately with injuries and breaks.

They will win most nights with that type of effort. However, they have to do it more consistently now. The halfway point is quickly approaching.
