The cut of the new Reebok jerseys and the size of the winged wheel crest is why if I recall correctly. Not enough room for the C in the old spot.

Yeah they had to curl up the tip of the wing a little as well to make it fit. The only time I find the C or A on the other side looks off is when we're in the finals and they have the crest right next to it. But at that point i'll take it :P

I am liking some of Babcock's line changes, but not all of them.

To begin, I am LOVING bert on that top line! He looks great out there with the big boys.

I am still not liking the 2nd line at all... literally every shift that line was on the ice, we were hemmed in our zone. The reason? IMO it is Franzen and his lazy play. I counted at least 4 times where the puck came to franzen and he literally just stayed put with the puck until the Pilly player came to take it from him... I am tired of Babs playing Franzen over guys that deserve it. I would like to see Alfie on the 2nd line and Franzen on the 3rd line.

I'm liking Ozzie in the studio. Can we ditch Daren Eliot and bring back Murph (but not the Gede Watanabe in Gung Ho glasses)?

oh yeah that's right, bad design decision on their part if you ask me

definitely bring back Murph!!

The Reebok jerseys suck in general.  Too many teams have added stupid horizontal stripes to their jerseys, and the Wings had to switch the "c" to the wrong side.

Also, the Dallas Stars are unable to go back to their original jerseys, so they keep failing miserably to design new ones.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

if ever a player was in serious need of some tough love, it's Franzen

I've noticed that a lot less people refer to him as 'Mule' as they used to(myself included), I think he's lost the right to his nickname, unless all mules become listless pylons

Babs should bench him for a game, might at least be a step toward waking him up a little

I agree... if this continues, he needs to be bought out next summer I am sick of it. But to punish Alfie over Fraznen is silly cuz at least Alfie has been trying, and has looked rly good tonight. Franzen on the other hand....

I was over Franzen once the Wings got eliminated by the Blackhawks and he was all smiles in the handshake line. A player who gives a s*** would NEVER be in a smiling mood right after losing a game 7. Been wanting to see his ass bought out ever since.

Give it time, after leading the team in game winning goals, I think the Mule will be a little easier to stomach.

GMRwings:  "Well, in other civilized countries, 16 years old isn't considered underage.  For instance, I believe the age of consent is 16 in Canada.  There's some US states where it's 16 as well.

Get off the high horse.  Not like she was 10."

"Some girls are 17 even though they look 25."

Bet he doesn't come close to leading the team in game winning goals if you factor out go ahead goals and just leave goals he scored to pad an already existing lead because of zero pressure on the team and then have them sit back to allow their opponents to get back into the game, causing his goal to just happen to end up being the winner..

^i apologize if that happens to make zero sense. I'm half in the bag.

The bigger question is, is Mule having fun yet? Or, if he's playing like ass, why not call him Ass? I think if he was on the third line he could tear it up against lesser d-men.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

If we don't beat this injury ridden, coach fired, no goalie team tonight ... we got some serious issues to work out.
