Why did Jimmy play that puck to no one when the Wings needed a change?

exactly! what the f*** was he thinking just directing it to no one? i've always felt howard has no concept of when to keep the play moving or not.

regardless of smith ******* up twice large on that shift....preds should have a goose egg so far.

How are you supposed to win hockey games when you have a defense group who constantly turns the puck over and can't retrieve it? And a goaltender who can't make a ******* save when the team needs it.

Just been odd man rush central by the Wings, obviously wouldn't be so bad if Howard could stop the puck, but still not good enough. Especially since we haven't generated any for ourselves.

Awful shift by Smith.

It wouldn't have mattered had Jimmy not decided that idiocy was the proper way to go. He had a chance to freeze the puck and put a stop to a disjointed shift, but instead he swept the puck out to nowhere.

And a forward corps that can't score.

Double botch by Howard. I don't know what he was thinking when he swept it out to an area with no red in sight. Then he blew the save.

He doesn't deserve to play in the Winter Classic. If Gustavsson isn't ready, then Mrazek should be started instead; this sort of horrific performance shouldn't be rewarded.

tell that to Cleary and Quincey
