Holland may take a poke at Legwand, depending on Helm’s prognosis, and maybe Gilbert. Although the PP looked pretty good tonight.

Wow. Vancouver is such a gong-show. Who would have thought at this time last year that they'd soon have NEITHER Luongo nor Schneider?

and only have Bo Horvat, Markstrom, and Mathias to show for it.

That's beyond sad. All three could turn out out be relatively valueless. Fire G\whats his name

with all our injuries, its now time to make a deal or three... If Holland doesn't make a deal today to better this team, he should be fired. The Wings are currently out of the playoffs and if the longest playoff streak in pro sports means this little to him, then he doesn't deserve to be part of Hockeytown. Have some pride Ken, do not throw s*** in the faces of all the fans this team has made the last 22 years. If you allow the streak to end, shame on you and get the f*** out of my Hockeytown!

80 percent chance the wings do not make the playoffs says Jeff O'neil... Little bitter about that 02 beating

Still?... lol

Brion with 70% chance that we don't make it. What's the bitter pill that he's yet to swallow?

Holland is in a tough situation. If he gets the OK form upstairs to sell off, he's going to piss off a big chunk of the fan base and he's probably not going to get much for the guy's he'd be trading. With all the injuries, they're in a tough spot unless Datsuik is going to come back soon, so not making a trade will compromise their chances of making the playoffs. At the same time, trading assets for a guy who might not be here next year just to make the playoffs is counterproductive to the stated plan of using the draft to rebuild on the fly, and adding a rental doesn't guarantee anything. It doesn't matter what he does unless he can get in on Kesler or another good player who isn't a rental, it's not going to be a great option.

Well, we don't really have anything worth giving up. This team has been trending down since 2010, but this team can't be fixed by a trade deadline. They need to trim the fat this offseason and analyze what they really have in their prospects.

KH is very conservative with trades. The FA market is full of mediocre stop gaps. So, the only way this team is going to improve is through the draft.

Haha. Nice to see Holland keeping busy.

What's the over/under he's not even in the office?

I'll take Mexico on a beach, $50

I don't see Holland making a deal. Even in the playoff race we are not sitting in a good situation to make a solid push at the cup. With Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Weiss, Helm, all out and no idea when they will be back why sell kids to make something small happen. Only way we make something happen if its for ehrhoff or elder I believe at this point. Just to land a D and I think he is looking more at Ehrhoff then anybody so if it isn't him, then we do nothing.
