NHL award voters:

Norris?
(looks at league leaders in points for defenseman)

Karlsson with 74!  He gets the Norris!

Oops, hang on a sec.  He had a plus minus of -15?

Hmm.  Keith is second with 61 points, plus minus of +22.  I'm sure being on the Blackhawks didn't overly influence that.

Keith gets the Norris!!

Does this really surprise you?  A Blackhawk won, a Bruin was runner up... in this league, that means Weber gets nothing, he's just a Pred.  League politics.

Bishop should win Vezina... bet they give it to Rask.

I have about giving up hope on two things:Weber winning the norris and the Preds winning the Stanley Cup

Weber might win somewhere else.  That day will come, betcha... and the Preds are going to miss Trotz.   Sorry about that, hon.

As muxh as i like watching anything hockey related in the off season, I hate the way NBC makes any NHL event.
Its always cheesy, and the guests have almost nothing to do with the NHL.

Its weird.

Periodically, I have a bubble of hope that the NHL is developing some interesting character players.  And then it goes away again.  ;)

@TPLhockey: Niklas Kronwall finishes 13th in Norris voting, one spot ahead of Subban and Ekman-Larsson.

but think about the poor microphone,it doesn't have a chance against shea weber's hard head.the nhl will have to put that microphone on injured reserved for life

Then we'd call that microphone Pronger.

I guess that means there's only 12 #1 defensmen in the league

@DFriedmanOnNYI: Gustav Nyquist received 13 Hart Trophy votes. Not bad for a guy who spent half the year in the AHL.
