Hairy Lime 234 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 Should Bettman give the Stanley Cup to Chicago now, or let the formality of the SCF's play out first?
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 I like the way it is right now. Besides, that goal isn't going to be the game winner by any stretch. This will probably be a 5-1 game. Yea, I edited it. Forgot about that. Hawks had one. Yeah the way the Ducks are playing this goal won't be the winner the Saad one will be it but the rule could be and should easier. Personally I would have waived it of because the replay clearly shows that Hossa is looking at the puck and he basically made a soccer stomp to kick it in but man what was Anderson doing ? Guy made the save and then pass it to the opponent ?
Dr Dubya 32 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) Damn this is a defensive clinic, I could win if I were Chicago's goalie Crawford used to say exactly that as a joke 6 years ago. Edited May 31, 2015 by Dr Dubya
Nightfall 871 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 Damn this is a defensive clinic, I could win if I were Chicago's goalie Crawford is solid right now. No rebounds. Gotta give him credit as well. Jeez, Ducks are playing like garbage.
Dr Dubya 32 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 I hate the Hawks as much as the next guy, but strike me down if it isn't fun to watch Perry lose like this. 1 kipwinger reacted to this

Nightfall 871 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) Hawks going for their 3rd Cup in 5 years. The Bowmans are impressive, aren't they? Thanks to only being relevant since 2008-09. From 97-08, the Hawks went to the playoffs 1 time and didn't win a playoff series. All those draft picks all those years, and finally Dale Talon came in and helped build the team there. Stan Bowman has been great as well, but the key here is all the high draft picks they grabbed all those years. PredsFanTheBayouState 263 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 gonna go hid in a cave for the next 3 weeks,it is gonna pain me more if i have to watch chicago lift the cup, being a fan of a team in the same division as them
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 If someone would ask me I'd tell them that Toews, Kane, Keith and Seabrook is a very good core to build around. Hossa of course was a great signing. Winning in this league is impossible without top picks Personally I'd gladly throw away a season to draft a guy like Eichel, McDavid or Toews

The thing that makes me sad is the Bolts are very young. So they probably gonna be a Cup favorite for many years to come. In our division.
