kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) Yes purely speculation, because most people can still function if they're just sick. Actually MLive reported he did have a flu so the speculation was correct. Just not sure about "stomach flu" or influenza virus. Regardless I'd assume he will be back for Tampa. Likely won't be hundred percent but enough to play. Edited March 20, 2016 by kickazz

chaps80 1,591 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 He was in full gear taking shots in practice before the game Saturday, so he's def not so sick that he's bedridden. He'll be back soon. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
LeftWinger 5,149 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 Even though he hasn't played, I think just spending time and practicing with the "big club" is providing great experience for Jared. Honestly, he could still practice with the team all he wants, even though he was "sent down." He could've been sent down on paper....remember Andersson actually played a game for Detroit after he was put on waivers. Weird CBA rules... I fully expect (if Howard is dealt) that Coreau will get a serious, SERIOUS look at being Petr's backup next season.

I look at Montreal and what has happened with the Price injury and would hate to see what would happen if we traded Howard, then Mrazek went out for the season. If we get rid of Howard, I feel we need a legit backup (ie. Reimer, Hillier etc.). 2 krsmith17 and chaps80 reacted to this

If they want to give Coreau a look next season and see what happens that's great, but they need to have a legit backup on the team in case he doesn't work out. I don't see Holland not signing somebody. 1 13dangledangle reacted to this
