Who cares? Ott is a 4th liner who jaws but doesnt fight or lay big hits. All bark no bite. Now we got New Dylan. ALL BITE. Sure this team is rebuilding, but we finally seem to be turning a corner with big acquisitions like this.

I like the sounds of this Dylan but can he take face offs and score too besides pound on guys (I mean pounding is good)?

You seem very excited for a player who probably won't ever wear the Winged Wheel... He's starting the season in Grand Rapids and will likely play the remainder of the season down there. He's a UFA after this season, and probably won't (shouldn't) be re-signed. McIlrath is not a good hockey player. He's a big, terrible skater, that can hit and fight, that's it. By the way, Smith >>>>> McIlrath, and it's not even close... ;)

That's what the chicks go to hockey games for.  Not to see your boy Smith turning the puck over like a fool.

Kronner will have to rest that knee again soon. I fully expect New Dy to get a call up to wreck some shop

Expecting McIlrath to get called up may lead to disappointment.. I think Russo or Hicketts would be called up before him as they have a better chance of being part of the future than McIlrath. I think he'll play out the year in GR and if he does well, he'll get another short low budget contract and start the year down there next year.

Haha just "No"... Hicketts can't punch faces. He may be able to punch knee cap though...

Could two stacked Hicketts in a trench coat defeat New Dylan? This kid is so big it's like we got two players out of the deal. Great trade by Ken.
