I'm not perfect either, which is why I don't say things like "get rid of the fatties by shaming them".  But to each their own I guess.  I'm just making a point that the people who so vociferously defend their right to be gigantic dicks to other people probably don't open themselves up to the same kind of scrutiny.

It's the internet, lgw specifically, you can relax. I'd be willing to bet he was making what we might call a "funny" and wasn't actually serious. As far as trolling goes these days it was pretty light.

ah, you seem to misunderstand how I feel. If you want to be all upset and sanctimonious because he said fatties, that's fine, I really really don't care. I just spent all night with a newborn who wouldn't sleep for more than 45 minutes at a time and I've never been more tired, I'm a bit grumpy and confrontational too y'know? I get it.

Jimmy is what I would define as a "chunker" someone who could afford to lose 20-30 lbs, but is otherwise probably fine. The only reason Jimmy SHOULD be shamed is cause he's a pro athlete who makes millions to essentially not be a chunker. The everyday chunker, who cares really.

Truly fat folks should be shamed. For the benefit of their own health and cause it's gross for me to look at. If this bothers you put down the toblerone and go take a walk fatty.

I agree though, It's fun with Jimmy because he's a pro athlete. He's by no means obese though and I imagine pretty darn healthy.

Pro athletes don't make money for being in shape.  They make money for being good at their sport.  And Jimmy has been a good goalie for a long time. 

Making fun of overweight people is low hanging fruit.  It's easy and stupid.  And it's disingenuous to pretend like you're being an ******* about it "for their own health".  You don't give a s*** about them. They're just an easy scapegoat.  It's about as lowbrow as you can get.  Which is fine for dumbf*cks, but you should probably hold yourself to a higher standard.
