Because some random dude says he'll project that way, you just jump on the bandwagon? Seriously, do some research and think for yourself.

Let's leave the "expert" work up to Nill, Hakan, and Holland people... They obviously know what they're doing and you're all bickering like a bunch of 12 year old boys who just got grounded for looking at porn. I'd much rather have a forward who can play both sides of the puck and has good size. He's still a kid and has the skills and talent, so now he just works on strength and let the coaches do the rest. Don't be too quick to judge just because you think some other guy "might" project big. We have more picks and we are notorious for late round gems. We have a solid group of guys both up and down and this just adds to that.

Hockey's Future bio: Talent Analysis Sheahan is an excellent playmaker and scorer. His skating is effortless, and he has the size to comepte at the next level. Future Projects as a first liner, but is versatile enough to play any role. A little more optimistic.

    Getting Rid of diving

Now that we can see how ridiculous all of the pansy diving that is going on in the world cup looks like, it is time for the nhl to make a stance on diving. I think all diving should be a 2 min penalty plus a 2 min unsportsmanlike, 10 min for the second dive in a game, and have the original penalty to the other player not be called, just the diving penalty. Also I think players should be fined hard for blatant dives.

We traded that first pick down for Emmerton, so he was our first pick and very early in the second round, and by that he should make the team at least. I just am going to be surprised if he used a second for a fourth line guy... I might see him traded at the deadline if there was anyway for us to aquire something of value. I doubt that because of our crappy cap. 1. vomits 2. vomits 3. ******* awesome. 4. EXTREMELY ******* awesome.

One, you are in agreement with me. I didn't complain about the size. Two, Tatar might be a top line guy, should at least be a top six guy at worst. Ferraro Might be a second Center, but that is not a given. Nyquist strikes me as an excellent winger and should be on that second line. Emmerton is not a top six guy, he was supposed to be a third line guy and I don't see him on that either with the way our team is chalk full of players that fit in that spot. This kid we just drafted could be the same type of player as Emmerton. It feels like we just gave up on him with this pick. I know he hasn't impressed me in GR. Nestrasil, and Pare may not even make the NHL, that is far from a given. I like our farm system right now, but when you get a really RARE 19th pick we need to hit one out of the park. I am thinking someone like Mike Richards who was 21st pick I believe. I still don't like the idea of getting a role player with a first round pick. I bet that this was their forth choice, so you can't fault them for the picks being gone before they get to them. As for the Dman we passed on that was a mean mother that Montreal picked, I am not worried a bit about our D corp. We have a bunch of quailty guys in our system. Forward was a bigger need. I just hope this guy is in Jordan Staal's league. Then we can play him on either 2nd or 3rd and get at least 20 goals out of him. I am in the middle, I am not going to give Holland a tounge lashing, but I am not going overlook the fact that we have needs. I thought him a god until he decided to resign Bertuzzi the third time.

to be honest, i still think they need to call fewer penalties... or at least make it tougher to draw a penalty. If you just tap a guy on the wrist you get called for a hook... whereas it should be (imo) a hook IF the player slows down. It would make the league a whole lot tougher and in theory would reduce the flopping on every little thing.

You could show that or... you could show every game that Devin Setoguchi plays in. Either one is quite effective.

It won't be as long as Bettman's bottom ***** likes to use it occasionally as part of his repertoire.

Chris Chelios tomorrow at a Verizon Wireless store in Canton, MI. from 5-7pm 41802 Ford Rd Canton, MI. Back when I started collecting autographs around 1995, there were signings left and right almost every weekend. Gibraltar Trade Center was a regular destination for me too... and they haven't really had s*** for years now, except the occasional worthwhile signing. Alot of the independently operated memorabilia stores in mall's that used to have them have long been out of business, and card shows in general are rarities. The current state of Gibraltar card shows is pretty sad. Edit: I suppose since it's 1am, I should have mentioned the Chelios signing as happening TODAY (Thursday June 24th) :]

I think he earlier said he's looking to sign an enforcer and that comment is more like saying he maybe won't be able to sign one after all. "If it's not there, it's not there." "If we can't fit it in, we would go without it." I wouldn't also be so sure about that heavyweight thing. He's just referring to two former team members who could fight.
