As I mentioned in the other thread discussing Octogate 2011: I'm working on some new designs for the LGW Shop that are more octopus-focused. I've had one design, the "Don't Tread on Me" Octopus t-shirt around for a few months now, but with recent events I've put together a few designs tonight that I'd like feedback on: Of note: Al Sobotka's photos are VERY hard to get the Che Guevara, but it is what it is . the "vidare till seger" is the Swedish translation of "hasta la victoria siempre" ("onward to victory" -- all via Google Translate). If some of our Swedish members has a more effective translation I'm all about fixing it. As it stands these are all up for review and should (hopefully) be available to purchase within the next day or two (kind of iffy being the weekend and all). If any of you have any ideas or suggestions -- or requsts for what item of clothing you'd like to purchase it on if it was available -- I'm all ears!

And despite all this, the Detroit haters all around the League have the nerve to continue to cry that the officials love Detroit.

Yeah, the Helm hit on Jovanovski looked clean as a whistle to me, but I'm willing to give the refs the benefit of the doubt there since Jov and Tippett were so teed off about something. What I'm NOT willing to let go is that nobody called anything on Jov grabbing Helm's frigging throat. That's un-mofoing-acceptable, and out of all the stupid sh** that happened in the game, that's what's going to stick with me because I still can't believe it. I don't care if Helm cross-checked, slashed, boarded, and then sat on him, that's just not what you do, and I can't believe the refs let that go.

The interference on helm to make it a 5 on 3 was ridiculous

Man! I didn't want it to be THAT exciting at the end! Those were stupid penalties by Detroit late. As much as I'd like to blame the refs (and frequently do), the Wings need to be smarter there. It put Phoenix back in the game. The Wings fought hard, though, and didn't give the 'Yotes much after that. All that matters now is it's 2-0 Detroit as the series shifts to Phoenix. And that's good.

Jovanovski is not back on the bench for the third; bruised ego.

Here we go with the refs trying to get the game back to even. This is what I'm talking about with this manipulation. When the refs call games to try to keep them competitive then that's called MANIPULATION. f*** you refs ,and f*** you jovie.
