Unbelievable. Luongo is going to need a witness protection program if he can't pull off game 7. And at this rate, game 7 is set up to be insane. Boston should win this series. Tim Thomas isn't going to let up for game 7. No way in hell. He's the best goalie in the NHL right now and he's got a tremendous amount of composure. But... Unless Luongo really cracks under pressure (which he has numerous times), he'll likely bring his A-Game to to game 7. And it's in Vancouver! It's going to be absolutely insane...just insane. I'm a little scared of what will happen if it goes down, but what the hell, they deserve it... GO BOSTON!

I suddenly just now realized that the Bruins haven't won the Cup since 1972....wow 38 years! That has to be the longest drought for an American team.... Go Bruins!

This is why I love hockey. It is completley unpredictable, who is their right mind would have thought Boston would score 4 goals on 10 shots in the 1st period after what Luongo did in game 5. Awesome....just awesome. GO BRUINS!

What if Schneider got hurt and Luongo had to come back in

    14 Years Ago Today

Hard to believe that it was 14 years ago today that Vladdy had the accident. What a crying shame. He has made a very solid recovery for the severity of his injuries. Get your Konstaninov jerseys out guys!

1 for 25 on the PP. Way to be effective Vancouver.

Hockey kharma at its finest. Do not open your mouth to trash a better player, if you can't back it up on the ice.

C'mon, AV, leave him in. It's just starting to get fun. Louongo now: "It's hard to score on me when I'm on the bench." Way to go Schne1der. Mercy rule 'em Bruins.

It's not like we can rely on our PP. McClellan, McCrimmon, (The Walrus was Paul) MacLean, all gone, I'm starting to think that Bab's is a real cock to work for. Good luck to ya, P-Mac.

Well, if we're talking about suggestive overtones: Canucks? A little racist isn't it? Blackhawks? Disrespecting the Native American are we? Red Wings? Really? Ewwwwwww!

    Wojtek Wolski

I feel like a broken record... the kid is only 25 and coming from VERY poor situations regarding leadership from upper management all the way down, you watch him play and you will see he's not lazy, and his attitude is nothing compared to most... also, he'd come on the cheap, so there's nothing to lose... anyone who is against him, is not looking at the bigger picture

    Will Nicklas Lidstrom Retire?

Because he isn't as good as he was in 02. Which means he should be paid league minimum. Duh.

He took shifts/games off, contract hold-outs, darting for a chance to make more elsewhere... and all this to the organization that essentially smuggled him and his entire family out of Russia... His number does not deserve to be retired and he should not be brought back here just for sentimental reasons when he has no place on this team... With that said, he still had a great career here and those moments should not be forgotten either and this is a GREAT story, but lets not let something all warm and fuzzy cloud the memory of what he put the organization through when he tried to, and then when he finally did leave... Agreed and this is what the focus of this topic needs to stay on.
