    Eddog vs. Seider

Thank god the "Mo and Joe" show is over, and Seider is training with Stutzle in Mannheim. I have no problem with him returning to Germany if he's training with other top league players like this. @Jonas Mahonas is a troll idiot who should go back to making pizzas.

    If there was no lottery...

The NHL is not a developmental league. You don’t just put guys in the NHL and tell them to learn, especially in top line roles, it doesn’t work. Imagine if, on your first day of a new job, your boss told you that you’d be evaluated based on how you perform against the very best people in your field over the course of 82, one hour long, competitions. You’d be f*cked. “Our scouts said you need to work on your faceoffs kid, well tonight you get to practice against Ryan O’Reilly. Don’t worry though, you’ve got Alexander Barkov and Patrice Bergeron later this week if that doesn’t go well for you. We’ll check back in at the end of the month and let you know if you’re meeting the standard your 20 minutes a night justifies”.

Didn't hear from Yzerman for 2 weeks after doing so, and then boom, it was done. Says Petry is very excited to be here and has always dreamed to play for the Red Wings. >say Steves mantra is we wanna get there (win the cup) but when we get there, we want it to be sustainable. In regards to the last statement, this is exactly what I want to hear from a GM (or 2nd hand through a coach). Screw lucking in to one cup like the Blues and fizzling out. I want Dynasty action. I will tolerate more pain for the big payoff. Give me generational wealth. f*** the new rich wannabes.

TLDR: I called you intolerant I think we all said the same thing when Husso and Ned were our options. Don't get me wrong - I'm intrigued and excited about this Lyon kid. But he could very well be the new Ned, and Reimer the new Hellberg. And the great goalie carousel in the sky spins on.

Good post and I question why everyone(press) assumes Reimer is the backup. Looking at their stats there should be a battle for that backup spot behind Husso. Reimer Lyon Frankly I am liking that we FINALLY have some choices that aren't hold your nose and pick the best of the worst.

    Cholowski Sucks

Gotta agree with Neo here. Jack's characters in "One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest", "Five Easy Pieces", "Easy Rider", and "Witches of Eastwick", "As Good as it Gets" and "Departed" are all exactly the same character despite being in vastly different types of films. It's just him sneering and rolling his eyes for two hours. "This time he's a sneering, smartassy, gangster". "This time he's a sneering, smartassy, writer". He mostly blows. But I do love his Joker. It's the only time he was cast correctly. No disrespect to other good Joker portrayals, but at least Jack joked around and laughed a bit in his.
