Oh jeeze, you have too much time on your hands.
Goal light is a goal light. If you want a redwings goal light, perhaps you should invent and market it, and make some money off it.
That company is just trying to produce a goal light for hockey fans. A general goal light. Nothing on that site implies it is "Detroit" friendly.
Give me a break dudes. It's a goal light.

Are you serious? Please, please, please remind yourself of the stretch run last year. Where Jimmy Howard basically carried us on his back. We wouldn't have made the playoffs without him last year, chew on that. His start this year wasn't bad either...sheez.
Put Jimmy on waivers and watch the ensuing GM on GM violence. Pretty sure Leighton goes unclaimed, but either way, pretty much no one will care anyway.

    3. The word of an AD in college football that there will not be a coaching change and they are committed to the current coach, after a couple sub-par seasons
    4. Brett Favre's retirement announcements

I can't watch the game as I'm in the lovely state of North Carolina, but seeing as how I've nothing better to do this evening, I'm still hanging around.
Not that anyone here particularly gives a s*** about what I do on a Sunday night, but there you go.

If they ever give you trouble out of state, just have them call their main office and ask about the promotion.
Promotions change routinely in fast food, so honestly, you could probably walk in and say "Hi, I'm here for my free drink, for the Wednesday promotion", and you'd probably walk away receiving both a free drink and a confused look. You'd be halfway home before they figured it out. And quite frankly, you'll be dead before they actually care.
To the best of my knowledge, Arby's never stated that it was a Michigan only promotion.
I'll be trying to get my curly fries for Eaves tomorrow, here in Jacksonville Florida

How would you compare Eaves speed compared to Helm, Mursak and Draper? He seems pretty fast out there. And I'm starting to wonder if Mursak has a slight edge in speed to Helm. Mursak's acceleration seems much quicker than Helm.

I think it has more to do with the fact that being paired with Lids means he's playing on the side opposite of what he's used to. He's said in the past that he doesn't feel comfortable doing that & I would have a feeling that being out of his comfort zone has effected his game somewhat.

I grow a playoff beard. If I have a girlfriend, that can really piss them off I can grow a pretty thick beard pretty fast.
I don't say words like sh#tout, unless it ends up happening. Then I will say it, but only for that day. Next morning, it's back to not saying it. I do say Hat Trick though, unfortunately, I think I jinxed Hank in the last game Sorry Hank!!!!!
I use to have a lucky Yzerman Jersey, that I wore every time there was a game. I couldn't wear it at work, but I carried it around with me anyway. We won the cup the year I had that, but a girl stole it from me. I don't have a lucky jersey now.
I want to buy a Datsyuk Jersey, but I refuse to do it until the season is over. Sometimes Jerseys are cursed. I don't want to buy one of the cursed one's by accident, while the season is going on. If it's cursed I won't be able to wear it.

    Did someone say physics!?
    - A hockey puck weighs 6 oz = 0.17 kg
    - A hockey goal weighs 125 pounds = 56.69 kg (http://www.arizonasportsequipment.com/hockey/complete-hockey-goals/regulation-goals-72-x-48/sku/238opw/)
A little background on what I'm about to do for those who are interested: In order for the net to move, a shot (force) hitting the net's center of mass would have to overcome the initial static friction (which we can assume there is none due to the ice's slipperiness). Essentially all there is then is to say that a horizontal force must exceed the downward force due to the mass of the net and gravity, in order for the net to move at all.
Force = mass*acceleration (in this case acceleration is gravity)
    Fnet = (56.69kg)*(9.81m/s2) = 556.13 Newtons
Thus, the force of the puck needs to exceed 556.13 Newtons to be able to move the net.
The hardest shot recorded is 105.4 mph = 47.12 m/s
The kinetic energy of a shot with this speed is KE = (1/2)*m*v2 = (1/2)*(0.17kg)*(47.12m/s)2 = 188.72 Newtons*m. This amount is only equal to the Work, however. In order to equate it to the Force applied, you must divide this number by the distance, which can be said from the top of the circle, is about 35 feet = 10.67 m. So (188.72 N*m)/(10.67 m) = 17.69 Newtons, roughly 3% of the necessary energy required to cause the net to move.
Working backwards using the necessary force to move the net, the necessary Kinetic Energy is KE = (556.13 N)*(10.67 m) = 5933.9 Nm. Put that into the Kinetic energy equation and solve for velocity: v2 = (5933.9 Nm)/(1/2)/(0.17 kg) = 69810.67 m2/s2. Take the square root to get velocity: v = 264.2 m/s, which is 590.99 miles per hour. To get an idea of how fast that is, the speed of sound is 340.29 m/s, which is 768 miles per hour.
But of course it's fake. You can tell by how the net moves before the puck even hits the net on the last two shots.
Douchiness and the Pittsburgh Penguins are completely uncorrelated.
Douchiness and Sidney Crosby being a whiny ***** is completely correlated.

I never really get why people think he was immature. He got caught drinking at University, thats not immature, NHLers drink why couldn't Smith?
And one fight at a party isnt really that big of a deal either, he's the big shot on campus, some idiot wouldn't leave the party when asked and Smith dealt with him.
Neither things to me make it even seem remotely close to effecting his on ice play

Meant to get back on here sooner but I was busy the past week. Playing at the Joe was an unbeleiveable experience. There was nothing like skating right out to the center ice Hockeytown Logo and touch it with my hand. I wish I could say the game was a success for my team but we played a team from Fraser that was an all adult team against a few of our kids and the rest were our adult team and the team from Fraser had been playing together for years so my team lost 9-0 we only got one shot on goal. The whole days was a blast. Watching both teams practice in the morning was great. Being in the basement of the Joe where our locker rooms were was AWESOME!! Seeing all the names and years of the Championship Teams on the wall was soo cool. Seeing the Stock room where all the Merchandise was kept than after the game both teams and families when to the Manhattan Room in the Joe and had Pizza for Dinner and staying in the room until the game seeing all the cool photos and memorbilia on the walls. Than whlie we were still in waiting for the doors to open a few of the players came through the room, I got to shake Zetterberg's, Helm's MacDonald,s and Cleary's hand was just fantastic and then of course having the Wings win just topped off a great day and wonderful experience!! It's something that will stick with me forever.
