Especially since Tampa won and 3 of the other 4 teams in the division have been Stanley Cup finals runner-ups over the last nine seasons...
Yet, still it's the PITS man! Has been and most likely will be.
The SouthLeast sports the team which I predict will finish dead last in all the NHL this coming season, The Washington Capitals.
But who knows really. It's gonna be a crazy, crazy year man. To say the very least! Anything can and will most likely happen.
Even the South rising again.
Crazy...

Southeast is much better this year. Oh, and so far..
Southeast: 42 pts in 37 gp
Atlantic: 42 pts in 41 gp
Northeast: 40 pts in 38 gp
And on top of that, SE only has 2 OT loss, compared to 4 in NE and 6 in Atlantic. Wins come out to..
SE: 20 wins in 37 gp
Atlantic: 18 wins in 41 gp
NE: 18 wins in 38 gp
I think too many people assume awfulness when it comes to the SE.

What? You sorta have to say the SouthLeast division has improved over the last couple of seasons now.
Especially since Tampa won and 3 of the other 4 teams in the division have been Stanley Cup finals runner-ups over the last nine seasons...
In the last 11 seasons, only Tampa and Carolina have been in the Finals, winning two of three.

I think Southeast: Atlanta, Carolina, Flordia, Tampa Bay, Washington, i think second would be central.
I think we need to give more credit to our division, it was bad for a long while but as of right now all 5 central teams are in the top 8 of the western conference. I know its early and all 5 will not make the playoffs but we are becoming a better division every year. As for the worst, its still gotta be the southeast.
