Guest Agalloch Report post Posted March 12, 2007 Yet another typo from one of their articles. Boston got on the board first, 5:26 into the game, when Sturm's shot from the top of the right circle along the boards beat Hassock, who was screened. So THAT'S why we lost. Some "Hassock" guy was in net all game.

Legionnaire11 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 I can understand if they didn't spell a name right if it's a rookie or some other unknown guy with a difficult name... But HASEK? And I'd also expect this stuff from ESPN who have had some strange box scores all season. But NHL.com should be on top of things.
FinWing 26 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 I can't believe this! Embarrassing, to say the least.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 I saw that yesterday, and it made me laugh. It's a silly mistake, for sure. NHL.com must have brought in a temp or a rookie to do recaps for the weekend or Spring Break, or something. Hassock. You'd think after 14 years they could get it right, even if announcers still can't pronounce Hah-sheck.
FinWing 26 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 How do you even come up with something like Hassock? Hashek or something similar would've been more understandable. Oh well, it happens.
