Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Love Bob and 'Stein, but I think Big E and Leclair were just a liiiittle more talented. And no. Calder is a fixture of our second line, and rightfully so.

shdwx14 7 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 If we made a version of the Legion of Doom it couldn't be with Lang cause he's Lazy and Sucks
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 I'd take Bert over Renberg , But I'd take a healthy Flyers Eric Lindros over Robert Lang anyday. Again , sorry bob
Superman54 91 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 wow wow wow....Its only gonna be "Justice League". Srry but no "Legion Of Doom" for me.
BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Top 3 on the LOD line: 1. Lindros 2. Leclair 3. Renberg Top 3 on the suggested, LOD line: 1. Bertuzzi 2. Lang 3. Franzen With those rankings... Lindros > Bertuzzi Leclair > Lang Renberg > Franzen Just too much of a stretch to declare a possible line like that and compare 'em to one of the top lines in NHL history. Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Eric Lindros, in his hayday, is a 100 times better than Lang. Same with John Leclair over Franzen. Sorry, no dice on this one. And besides, Calder is a second liner. That is where he stays.
theman19 47 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 i'd much rather have our own "European invasion" line of Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Holmstrom anyway

Oh man , Imagine a Calder-Lindros-LeClair line , if they were in the primes of there career , That would be amazing
TheLegend19 1 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 If we made a version of the Legion of Doom it couldn't be with Lang cause he's Lazy and Sucks And, honestly, I think he really looked it tonight. It's not Doom-ful if it's not intimidating.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Oh man , Imagine a Calder-Lindros-LeClair line , if they were in the primes of there career , That would be amazing Calder would have to be aged by a few years, because the last time Lindros was any good he wasn't in the league yet! Guest Crymson Report post Posted April 13, 2007 I think "feared and brutal" and "Robert Lang" do not belong in the same sentence. Massive, sure. Too many cheeseburgers. However, not at all like Lindros, and the guy wouldn't harm a fly. Brutal.. Lang? Sheesh.
Offsides 21 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 (edited) Ha..that's funny. I was talking about Bert w/ Lang at the game, and putting them together with Huddles. Have the 'Nothing but Czechs/Checks' line. Edited April 13, 2007 by Offsides
LondonWing 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Johan Franzen, 6-2, 220lbs To me Franzen always looks like more than 6-2 out there on the ice - he seems to tower over everyone
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted April 13, 2007 Sammy's had a bug up his butt for a month now, he's gonna play rough. And Lang, well, another giveaway tonight... Do you realize you're the first one who's ever brought up the fact that Lang actually had a turnover? I suppose we're not going to talk about Sammy's flaws?
