But also just was thinking that the Calagry fans on this message board have seemed very cool, and unbias, just wanted to say thanks, and I hope you feel the same about us wings fans. I find most on this board to be quite descent also But I do stick up for my team when need be.....and if I offend anyone in the process.....then I am sorry....maybe, depending on what it is. Iggy is far from an *******....he is a top notch player, which anyone would love on their team./ Iggy is Iggy and that is how he gets going sometimes. He will be ready for game 2 and I mean HE WILL BE READY. Nuck fans would get quite worried when Iggy would get upset. I don't know much about Iginla as a person. But I do remember hearing a few years ago, some guys traveled to watch calgary play and were sleeping in their truck. I have heard volumes of stories about players going above and beyond the call of duty for THEIR fans. My favorite involves Eric staal. During the stanley cup playoffs last year one of Raleigh's finest (the cops run security at the RBC) told Eric Staal his son loved him, and that for his birthday, which was today he bought him his jersey. Eric didn't have time to sign anything as it was practice for game 7 against buffalo, so he asked to see the cops cell phone and called his son to wish him a happy Birthday. Iginla is far from an *******, there are many documented cases of him going out of his way for the little people (us fans) I can understand why opposing fans might not like him on the ice sometimes, but that's another reason us Flames fans like him. Didn't like game one, but who would? Hahaha, you guys like that game? Game 2 things will hopefully be different...please be different. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BE DIFFERENT. Anyways, I for one think this is a good hockey board, and most Wings fans I come across know their hockey, which is a big plus when talking hockey...heh. That being said, the thing I hated about him in the first game was the chipping at guys like Zetterberg and the like. If you are going to start s***, why not do it with an agitator like Maltby or someone like that, but Z... no idea why these guys pull that crap. fotze 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2007 Ya, the REd Wing fans are pretty damn good from what I have seen. A Lot better than the Lightning or Mighty Ducks fan that we have seen. I as in Traverse City for the 2004 series and was alone in the bar watching the Flame eventually win game 3 or 4, and wings fans paid for my beers the whole night even though the Flames won. Good people those wings fans are. I will never forgive Michigan for desging my piece of crap Ford Escort with automatic seatbelts. That has to be the stupidest invention on the planet.
