Save it with the stupid college football mentality crap.. this isnt a frat house.. It does matter how well they play whether they win or not..

Sure thing....I'm so sure the Atlanta Thrashers or the Minnesota Wild will be hoisting the cup this year, since it doesn't matter if you win or lose.......

In all honesty i don't think the wings have a chance to win this series. San Jose has playmakers that capitalize on good opportunities and we don't. I am not saying we have no playmakers we just don't have anyone that can punish the opposing team for their mistakes is all

As a Sharks fan, I hope you are right. I saw the Sharks doing well early with the Wings carrying the play the second half of the period. Wings had the better of the special teams with strong PK and steady pressure on the PP.

Bad luck for the Wings that the one clearing pass that got kept in the zone put Thornton and Cheechoo the 2 on 1.

Lot of hockey still to play.

What is Bert supposed to do?????? He is on a line with 2 dopes.........what is he supposed to carry them?????? Sammy shoots to much and Lang reminds me of Mike Williams <_< We need to get better shots and get them up

I hate to say it, but the way Bertuzzi has been playing he fits nicely with those two at the moment. Not that I don't hope he turns it around, but the guy has had a rough series.

I can't believe some of you have the NERVE to call yourself Red Wings fans. It's completely pathetic in the way a few of you act when down by a freaking goal. Those of you giving up already, calling it a night, and saying that it's over.. after ONE goal just shows how little you know. Way to be a fan. Do us all a favor and don't even come back when the Wings win. There's no room for fair weather or bandwagon fans.

ANYWAYS.

Aside from the mistake that led to the goal, I thought the Wings played really well. Excellent PK. Time for us to get the next couple goals and take this back to D-Town tied at 2.

????? WOW guess someone never heard of freedom of speech <_< sorry to tell you this but not everyone that thinks the Wings are going to lose is a fair weather fan....

Ugh... how typical: Wings get iron, get robbed on the big save, Sharks get the goal.

Power play is looking solid, though. Let's bust this thing wide open, Wings. One good shot that Nabby can't see and we're back to even.

We could easily bust this game open. I really like how the first 20 went in general, minus the score. We need to keep up the physical play and not get trapped along the boards for every one to plow us over. I was really frustrated to see The Wings fail to clear the boards and their zone play after play after play in Game 3. I have yet to see this!

If we can continue to penetrate, it is only a matter of time :siren:

The Wings aren't winning, and neither are they losing. Same as the Sharks. The Wings are down one goal EARLY IN THE GAME. Nothing more.

OK Yogie Berra. The score is 1-0 and we are down in the series 2-1.......... how are we NOT losing???

I just noticed on the Versus introduction for period 2, they showed a dead shark on the ice. Is this a new tradition they are trying to start in San Jose? Throwing dead fish?

Everybody wants to be like Detroit with our flying octopi because they are badass.

I'd rather they get lucky and win than play well and lose.....

As it is, if you want to call Game one their "best effort" or the last half of game 3 their "best effort" I want some of the crap you're smoking....
