Offsides 21 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Let's Go Wings! All of my traditions are messed up right now...all my superstitions are in shambles. I will be at my graduation and might miss part (if not all) of the game. The Wings will have to find a way to win without me! I'm nervous.

servo 15 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Wings still have yet to handedly "win" a game. Each series to date in memory they dominate at least one game. If momentum carries this is ours. I'd love to see Hasek get a shutout but I predict 5-2 Wings. Hopefully, these stupid Tolls called "fans" will stay off of the boards and refrain from posting their worthless negative crap. I don't want to see posts about the series is over, the Wings have no desire, drive or will to win etc etc etc! GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 10-0 wings That's completely unrealistic, we all know San Jose scores 2 goals each game. 10-2 Wings. There much better.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 (edited) I'm feeling great about today's game and feeling a blowout! Wings 6(Franzen, Datsyuk, Lang, Bert, Lidstrom, Sammy) Sharks 2 (Bernier, Ehroff) GO WINGS!!!!!! Edited May 5, 2007 by HockeyCrazy3033
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Actually I'm quite worried about this game, I feel a lose means we kill the series with the Sharks winning it in 6. A win means, well I think we still lose game 6 and probably win game 7. Homer's return makes me quite confident, and I know there's no quit in our team so it'll be going down to the last second. But it's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for us depending on how things go scoring wise. They score first and we have to spend the entire game playing catch up, we score first and they stay hungry the entire game and we end up being the ones trying to sit on a lead. Kira 451 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Step one in the process of getting to round 3 was accomplished the other night. Step two is winning tomorrow. Step 3 is going back to San Jose and winning Monday night. I want to see us take that second step to the third round. We need to play with heart and soul. In the words of Stan Rogers..."Turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain and rise again."
kylee 727 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 so pumped to watch this game tomorrow. if the Wings take the game tomorrow, i believe the series is done, but first things first. i just want to see the Wings come out flyin and dont look back. send the sharks a demoralizing loss. go Langer! go Hank! ps. i really hope that guy who started a thread on getting an octopus into the joe ends up throwing that thing down and help set the joe off for this big game! Elshupacabra 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 This one will be REALLY tough, the Sharks are going to come out S-T-R-O-N-G . We'll have to weather the storm in the first period, but I KNOW we can do it. GO WINGS!

Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 IMO, the Sharks are going to make good on their promise of not sitting back. As a result, this game will be more wide-open and high-scoring than the previous four. Wings 5 (Datsyuk, Holmstrom, Franzen, Schneider, Zetterberg) Sharks 3 (Thornton, Thornton, Thornton disguised as Marleau)

Zenithian 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 In any series, Game 5 is the most important of them all; in an evenly matched series, it is this game that places one team on the threshold of total victory, and the other on the brink of elimination. That simple fact cannot be overstated - teams that win Game 5 are statistically more likely to win the series. I think this matchup will be no exception; if the Wings win this game, they will take the series. They have the momentum, the will, and the never-say-die attitude that is necessary to go all the way in the playoffs. I believe the Wings will win this game in convincing fashion!
