"I fail to see how being needlessly violent makes him 'the man.'"

Why does there always have to be 1 person ruining the thread, please shut up.

Since you asked nicely, I'll return the favor and ask you to please kiss my white ass.

There have been many resources over the internet (more reliable than a russian site), including AO himself, saying that this didn't happen. FYI.

Shall we ban him for raining on the chest-thumping parade? Sorry if he doesn't think getting in a bar fight is the end-all and be-all of awesomeness. Sorry if expressing a different opinion than yours ruins the thread for you. I guess it'll have to stay ruined.

Report: Ovechkin Punches Malkin's Agent

According to Sport-Express:

Washington Capitals star Alexander Ovechkin broke the jaw of Evgeniy Malkin's agent Gennady Ushakov.

Once well-known keeper Gennady Ushakov came out to take part in a pre-season match the other day with his jaw injured.

It has become known that a conflict flared up between Alexander Ovechkin and Gennady Ushakov during a night club party.

Ushakov is said to have insulted Ovechkin which led to a fight in which Malkin's agent had his jaw broken.

I talked to a Russian reporter who would know about this. He said details about the incident are sketchy, but he's pretty confident that it did happen. He also said it was a "damaged" jaw, not a broken one.

One thing is for sure: Ushakov won't be Ovechkin's new agent.

Quite weird action from AO. :)

Not that I care one way or another, but AO himself would probably be the one person that would most want to deny that this happened, so him saying it didn't happen doesn't really mean anything.

What??? Are you telling me that a Russian newspaper has made a story up or exaggerated it completely? I don't beleive it!!!!

Russain Newspapers make the Enquirer look like the New York Times.
