norrisnick 1 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 What's odd is that Ritola played more tonight than Igor, Hartigan, and Ellis who are all still in the running for that 13th spot (not sure where Downey is but he hasn't been mentioned in a while for being in the running or as being cut). DSM 114 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 I think they just wanted to get a better feel for Ritola, as he was probably the biggest suprise at camp. He struggled last season in Sweden, and in the prospect camp, but was awesome in the Red Wings camp. If I were to predict these last 3 spots left, I'd have to say It'll be Meech, Ellis and eventually Grigorenko. I think for the first couple of weeks Grigs will be in GR as it will continue to help him inprove. I really enjoyed watching him tonight, and he has improved an assload since he arrived.
