Well, it's 2 games out of 82. The Wings scraped by the Ducks and got slighted by the Hawks. The season will settle in soon - maybe then it'll be easier to judge what needs to shake up and who needs to pick it up.

'Till then, I'll try to relax more. Still...I mean, come on, it was the frikkin' Chicago Blackhawks.

Well, we deserved to lose this game. I knew there's no way in hell we'd win 2 straight shootouts. Here are my thoughts on the game.

1. We gave up too many odd-man rushes, and our backchecking was horrible. That's not a very good combination. The guys looked a little lazy tonight.

2. I told you all before the game that Robert Lang = Mr. Clutch, and that he'd score a big goal late in the 3rd. Damn me for always being right.

3. Drake is going to get murdered by game 10 if he keeps this up. Time to call up Downey, especially if Franzen is hurt. I'm sure you all saw the way Koci was running at our players.

4. The lines combos look bad so far through 2 games. I don't see any chemistry out there whatsoever unless Pavel and Hank are creating it.

5. Rafalski looks like he's fitting in well, but he's got to cut down on the turnovers, especially on the shorthanded goal we gave up.

6. It's stil difficult for me to accept the fact tha Samuelsson is going to get a lot more ice time. I'm tired of his idiotic spin-around moves which are destined for turnovers.

Cleary played great. Maltby played good. Lebda was kinda bad. Samuelsson was ******* terrible as per usual. That guy is going to single handedly lose some gays this year for the Wings. He turns the puck over all the time, shoots the puck too much, and is lazy.

Already getting your hopes up? When have the Blackhawks won anything? Enjoy your first win of twenty this season. You'll then go on to talk about how crappy your owner is and how bad your GM is and continue to complain. The Blackhawks still suck, and probably always will. Accept that, and it'll be easier to handle.
