Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Nice Pain Train text. You know, against Calgary, the Wings would be really smart to play someone like Downey. He'll be good to have if someone like Regehr or Captain Visor takes a run at Z. Plus, I want more fights.
Duck Guy 86 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 (edited) This is one of those games that justifies me buying Center Ice. I gotta take the flames in this one. Iggy has been awsome and so has kippri, Tang and Lang are looking awsome. And Phaneuf is one of the best D man. And they are out of that ugly slump. So Iam going to say something along the lines of Flames win this one 4-3. But who knows anything can happen... Edited November 1, 2007 by Duck Guy
rwfan007 18 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 This game needs to be good enough to hold us over til next wednesday. We have been playing calgary really good the last 6-8 meetings so I believe we will take this one 4-2.
GSBrooks13 204 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Well.. Lets see.. I predict that this game will not be close whether that is good or bad is yet to be seen.. but heres to hoping that it will be good.. Wings - 4 (Kopecky, Lidstrom, Z and Cleary) Flames - 1 (Sarich)
Guest Canadian Wings Report post Posted November 1, 2007 4-2 Wings Game could go either way tho...i think Calgary is being a little over-rated right now...by some. Solid team, but the Wings are clearly the class of the West. I just hope we got our sub-par game of the West coast trip out of the way last time out.
Salviaman 104 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 This one goes to a Shoot out. Z scores the first goal in the SO followed by Igilna, then everyone else misses except for Datsyuk who will make the Kipper look like Tommy Salo . Red WIngs: 3 (Holmstrom, Lidstrom, Z) Flames: 2 ( Igilna, Sarich)
interminded 1 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Detroit is redhot, there's really no reason we shouldn't win this game. Get 'em boys ! 3-

I think they just started Drake last game just to get him active again. I doubt he'll actually be in the lineup consistently as of now, given the way Downey and Ellis have performed in his absence. Drake might be in, but I have a gut feeling Downey will be in the lineup tonight.
motorcitykid 42 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 (edited) This game should be the best of the Western road trip. Although the Wings are clearly "the" class of the NHL, we all know things don't always go the way they should out West. GO WINGS!! Wings&Beer 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 LETS GO WINGS!!!! Start November out right and finish off an amazing 7 game streak, earning a well deserved 5 day break. WINGS 3, Flames
auxlepli 17 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Zetterberg has failed to notch a point in his last three games at Pengrowth and has only one assist in six games overall.

grimace1970 81 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 3-2 Wings. Homer gets 2 tip-ins disallowed because of phantom goalie interference penalties.
union drone 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 My prediction: Calgary plays well at home, it will be see-saw battle, but the wings come out on top with a clutch third period GWG. Detroit: 3 (Sammy, Homer, Lids) Calgary: 2 (Huselius, Iginla) I think that this will be a tough game. Calgary at home, playing a bit better of late, having a score to settle, Wings perhaps looking forward to a long break.
Offsides 21 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Ozzie's record makes me smile haha. I am definitely looking forward to this game tonight. GDT looks good as usual *thumbs up* Also, good to see in the game notes that Hasek's hip is doing better. I'd like to see Huds-Flip do some more damage! Icer 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 I looked at the schedule this morning and saw the Flames and I thought to myself, "Damn, the Flames again?!?" One month into the season and we're playing them for the second time. We've also played the Oil twice, Sharks twice, Ducks twice, and Nucks twice. WTF?!? We've yet to play the Avalanche. We haven't played a single team in the Eastern Conference. We haven't even played 3 teams in our own division. Whoever made this schedule was a moron. WingNutt 12 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 looking forward to tonights game, I expect the Wings to continue playing well and take it to the Flames early on. We have to get into Kipper's head early in the game. Wings win 3-
Zion 93 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 That would be the best thing they could do, rattle Kipper early. SJ did it recently, the Wings should definitely be able to do the same.
Rob the Badger 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 I'm glad that this road game has an early start time of 8pm. But why is it at 8pm? Isn't that kind of early in Calgary?
