I feel bad for Todd Fedoruk, he hasent been the same since he left Anaheim and got his face broken by Boogaard.

I think Florida, Montreal or Anaheim are gonna pick him up. If he ever get's his game back, he'll be a good gritty forward for the 3rd/4th line that can play the PK and fight too. If he doesnt re-find his game, he's still a pretty good enforcer.

Ummm, I'm sorry, but what are you talking about? Are you referring to the same Todd Fedoruk that I am thinking of? If he can't re-find his game, then he's still a pretty good enforcer? What game is it that he is trying to re-find? When has he ever been more than just an enforcer. I suppose he had a whopping 5 goals in his rookie year and he had 23 points a couple of years ago, but I still don't understand what you are getting at.

Oh he can play the PK....really? I'm not sure anyone else in the NHL knows that. Have you actually watched the guy play?

Out of interest, here is his PK time per game per year in his career:

00/01 - 0 seconds per game

01/02 - 3 seconds per game

02/03 - 0 seconds per game

03/04 - 1 second per game

05/06 - 1 second per game

06/07 - 2 seconds per game

07/08 - 2 seconds per game

Back in his days in Anaheim, I thought he was a pretty good player. Ever since last year, he hasent done a whole lot of anything, but I still think someone will pick him up. If nothing else he's a pretty good utility player.

Ok so Fedoruk doesn't play the PK, that can be summed up in 1 sentence you don't have to bust a paragraph and stats to rip the guy...

Anyways, it is sad to see but hopefully he does find "his game" again. His game being a 20 point heavyweight enforcer who can easily take a regular shift on the 3rd and 4th lines and take on anyone in the league. I hope for the best... I hope Montreal takes a crack at him.

Starting for Sorel Tracy!!!! lol LNAH Action!

Won't happen, the LNAH now requires that incoming players for the league be born in Quebec. Fedoruk was born in Redwater, Alberta.

Make it happen kenny

You gave the reason it won't happen, its Kenny. After all he belives our power play is our enforcer.

Even during his 86 games with Anahiem, he was a 4th liner at best.

Sorry, I backed up my comment with stats to prove it, what's wrong with that? I didn't rip into the guy. Also, I found his comment curious as it seems like he just made it up.

In terms of easily taking a regular shift on the 3rd line....NO CHANCE. He's a 6-8 minutes a game guy. If he wasn't a fighter, he wouldn't be in the league. He's not even a great fighter.

and why can't Fedoruk play on a 3rd line? He's a 6-8 minutes a game guy....capable of 20 points a year

and he was a great fighter.. until last year's beat downs he was probably a top 10 guy in the league... and he has had some boring fights not but he also had a good showing against Shawn Thornton this year who is definitely no slouch

Fundamental lack of talent.

lack of raw talent sure, but he is one of the few enforcers (Laraque being another) that actually know how to use their size to their advantage and get a strong cycle going... if a guy like Tom Kostopolous can play 10-12 minutes a game in Montreal theres no reason Fedoruk can't

There may be a bit of a difference in skill between the two:

Kostopolous:

Junior - 196gp, 64g, 162pts

AHL - 382gp, 122g, 317pts

Fedoruk:

Junior - 194gp, 27g, 57pts

AHL - 84gp, 5 g, 23pts

who cares what they did in junior, in the show is what matters:

Kostopolous: 249gp 26g 48a 74p -30

Fedoruk: 365gp 17g 50a 67p -6

sure Kostopolous is a bit better of a scorer but Fedoruk is much more physical and from a toughness stand point you are basically upgrading the worst middleweight in the league (Kosto) to a potential top 10 heavyweight (Fridge)..which Montreal really needs
