I love what Mickey said on the WRIF this morning, about how Tootoo was running people but when Downey came up to him and exchanged words...it stopped! Thats not to say Downey is the kingpin fighter of the league, i'd actuallly bet on Hordichuk to win over him, but for someone like Tootoo in his case, ...Downey could kick his ass! Thats neutralizing a potential big time agonizer by having Downey in there, and its costing you zero in terms of the scoreboard...as he'd be replacing a non-contributor anyway.

Tootoo/Drake (if he were healthy) would be entertaining, but in all honesty Tootoo probably pounds him.

Downey would probably have to take the instigator to get Tootoo to go with him, but it'll be worth it.

That would be so sick. Him and Drake could Double D team him and the goalie can come out of the net to defend him, then Dom can come out to fend off the goalie and a whole brawl can insue...that hasn't happened before right? Pity that Dally isn't playing. I love him, I don't know why though

yes! i love watching downey do his thing and i would go crazy if tootoo would drop the gloves with him...but i really doubt it will happen, a boy can dream right!

I was wondering last night why the hell Downey and Ellis weren't playing over Drake and Kopecky, and it finally looks like Babcock has seen the light. Drake and Kopecky have been useless so far. Also, Franzen needs to center Downey and Ellis, so that Hudler can move up to the 2nd line, because Franzen hasn't been doing anything lately either.
