2/5 GDT: Red Wings 3, Wild 2 OT

I don't know if theres an official backup to Aflac on GDTs, but its almost 4 and we didn't have one still, so I figured I'd at least give us a start.

I'm not going to do all the cool little graphics or stuff, simply mention that Hasek is the probable starter tonight, and he is 9-0-0 against the Wild (two ties), with a .99 GAA. Oh, and he gives Gaborik nightmares.

Also these games tend to be high scoring, so I'm expecting a 5-3 victory.

dom in tonight if the rotating is right.

i dont know why but it just seems like Detroit is due to get downed soon. and this being on the road, against the new "hockeytown" i think minny has as good as a chance as ever with the Wings struggling 2nd tier scorers of late.

but with that being said,

lookin forward to this one.

lets go wings!

All line come out strong tonight. Huds and Flip play well and the second line along with the first produce.

Dare I even call a Maltby goal?

4-2 Redwings

Hudler, Malty, Datsyuk, Lidstrom

Im pretty sure he's still out... Wings play well and Dom get's the win... Is downey in the lineup?

Unfortunatly, I am almost 100% Downey is out as a healthy scratch.

I wonder though if he will be back next season.

i honestly think it will factor in what he does in the playoffs in his limited time.

yeah obviously were not looking for timely goals from him, but if he can stand up against the goons from Anaheim, id say he's worth keeping around - i like him. although i think his sporadic playing time is due to dally being with the Wings too of course.

I really hope Downie is in tonight, what I dont get is why Drake is choosen over Downie...

I mean from what I see Downie produces soo much more energy

Maybe Drake will get a point every 10 games which Im sure we can live without......
