seeinred 1,488 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 Honestly I agree. I think that's the kind of respect Lids gets. He was clearly hurting and had rubber legs. If the ref hadn't stepped in it would've been watching Nik basically crawl to the bench, which would've sucked. Yeah the Kapanen thing was the 1st thing I thought of when I saw Nick stumble. Even if Lids is out for only a couple weeks, we definitely need to add a veteran defenseman. Its looking like Stuart more and more everyday, but the decision will be made based on Lidstroms condition. Doubtful its Campbell. Hed be too costly and hed be a sure-fire rental.
