Haha, you saw right through me.

If you listen to the interview you can hear Holland's phone ringing in the background. Ken started to sound a little distracted aftre that.

Hopefully he didn't miss an important call.

God, wouldn't that suck if we missed out on a huge trade because of an interview? Hah.

Man...this is a dull trade deadline. I haven't got all caught up, but Forsberg has come out of retirement to sign with the Avs and that's the only movement, right?

Also, it seems that more and more of the big guys are not being traded after all. It seems Hossa is the only impact player left.

You should really start paying attention to the SEASON and not just the past two lousy games. And offense has EVERYTHING to do with whether or not we play our starter. If you don't think the Wings have issues up front, then you've got some issues yourself..Then again, Ive seen some of the posts you've made lately, and its pretty self-explanatory.

And if you want to talk about recently, then theyve scored a whole 6 goals in the last 5 games.

Yes, how are they doing over the SEASON up front? Let's see, they are #1 or #2 in GFA. Your argument is contradictory but hey, whatever. If you want to worry about their lack of scoring in the last 5 games when they lead the entire league over the past 60 that's up to you.

Don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion

I think things will pick up tonight. If not, I think there will be a really big day tomorrow.

Right. And Anaheim is last in GF too, yet they havent had a problem scoring goals lately either. Dont bother reading between the lines at all, but then again that takes really hockey knowledge, so I cant expect you to do that.

Blind as a bat are those that think we dont have scoring issues..Regular season stats predict EVERYTHING in the playoffs..

Most of the time it seems the trades come fast and furious on the actual deadline day. There might be a few that happen tonight, but the majority of them will be tomorrow.

I'm working from home tomorrow so I will be listening to the radio and keeping a couple of the online trade trackers open all day. :)

There were quite a few trades that happened last year on the day before the deadline, so I'm hoping things start to pick up tonight. My favorite trade was the Calder for Williams deal... not because I'm a Calder fan, but because it finally got rid of Williams being on the PP. :D

But now Sammy is on the power play...

Which is why I'm hoping for an identical deal involving that loser. One struggling player for another never hurts, you know.

Samuelsson for Ryder. Make it happen, Kenny! :P
