Hell be lucky if he nabs 30 points on the season... Yeah, stone hands Bernier scored 15 goals last year and has 13 this year. He's 23, 6-2, 235lbs, hard to get off the puck and about a million times better defensively than Hudler. Wipe off you homer glasses for 1 second. IMO, getting Campbell, who is a UFA and might not re sign in San Jose for a 1st round pick and Bernier is a so-so deal for San Jose. If they sign Campbell then its a fair deal. If they don't, then they overpaid slightly because of the 1st rounder. Personally, i'd take Bernier over Hudler any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
