I am just as frustrated by the Wings play in Nashville so far, but with the change in inserting Ozzie and the way the second ended (minus the shorthanded 2 on 1), I have faith that we can pull it off if we can get an early one and get momentum back...as long as we don't let one in after a blink of an eye...again. Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted April 17, 2008 i just hope that changes i watch every game on tv and it just sounds so dead there...i would really like for someone to explain that to me. seriously just puts me to shame that a city that has NO rich hockey history to it is so much more louder than one that has so much more going for it....well not now. Yep. And after watching the highlights of Game 1, in the final stages of the game half the seats were empty and people were walking out while the clock was running down. I know the game was over, and maybe it's just me but why would you bother trying to get out a minute or two early when you can stay till the end in appreciation of a Wings victory? I've had enough of this Hasek/Osgood crap and benching every single player on the team! We're down 2 goals. If NASHVILLE can close the gap in less than a minute 3 times this series, we can do it at least once in 20 minutes. We've come back from much worse than this. We can easily do this. Packer487 3 Report post Posted April 17, 2008 How did Ozzie get traded in the first place? For letting in 1 goal a game against LA in 01. A year where we couldnt score a goal to save our lives. Hasek has been alot worse, the last 2 years. 1 goal a game, 2.5 goals a game...pretty much the same thing. And we actually outscored LA in that series. That said, it was time to put in Osgood. The pucks weren't hitting Dom for whatever reason, some bad bounces (the puck hitting Kronwall's ass for one), some bad goals, and the team as a whole was playing like hell. Dats seems to be the only one who has any passion, Ozzie played well since he came in. I think we need to scratch Hartigan and put Downey or Abdelkader in. Hopefully we come out in the 3rd and at least score or goal or play better, that way we can carry some momentum and something positive into the next game. Money is not the only reason why we have seven (possible) games in a series. Some times there will be bad bounces, bad reffing etc. Yeah, but how many times have the Wings come home and lost in game 5?
