rdwngnut 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2008 Yeah I am excited that I get one!! I have always wore the colors of support but you get the higher ups that don't. I am thinking Belle Tire is donating these. Also part of this email is discounted single seats. Good discounts if anyone is interested, send me an PM. JayUp88 1 Report post Posted May 7, 2008 Any chance they are giving them out during game 2 also because I'm going to that one I think if it goes good they will do it again. I don't like when they give out the pom poms. I am more of a fan of the towels and all one color.

I agree, the pom poms were embarrassing. you didn't even notice them, plus, what guy likes to wave around a pom pom. No offense to the ladies at all, just a man thing. (In my opinion anyways)
Datsyerberger 279 Report post Posted May 7, 2008 Maybe someone on the boards here works at Belle Tire and saw that thread we had, and managed to get that idea up to the top or something as a sponsorship idea and so forth and.. well.. is that really improbable? Heh. Not like we need to inflate our egos by thinking that the awesome things we see are all spawned from the ideas we generate here, because lord knows we're some super genius think tank... Misty Belle 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2008 I wonder how they know what size to make all the T-shirts? Maybe they make them all extra large to accomodate everyone?
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) RED Towels would be better.... because i would want to wear my $130 jersey to go along with the $150 ticket.... maybe for all the suits or people who refuse jerseys this would work but they are almost there... RED Towels... RED Shirts to wave... same difference really Edited May 7, 2008 by OsGOD
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 (edited) "Fans are asked to don their red t-shirts throughout the game" Doesn't "don" mean to put on? How are fans supposed to be putting them on throughout the game? Do you start with one section, like the wave? Or do you put them on really slowly? Or do you take them off during intermissions and TV timeouts and then put them back on during the game? I'm confused. Cool that they're doing it. Go Wings! If someone goes and gets one, can you post a pic so we can see what they look like? Edited May 8, 2008 by 55fan

Zion 93 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 Better yet, get your MULE t-shirt at LGW.com!!! When my wife and I were in Detroit, we got this great red t-shirts that have the Winged Wheel on the front with the player's name and number in back. I got Lidstrom and Datsyuk. Almost got Z's, too, but they were two-fers, so I took advantage of the sale and just got the two. Make us proud, fans!
