How about the no-call when Drake (?) was tripped at center ice? That led to a Pittsburgh rush. How about the rough in the near corner in the offensive zone? Hopefully the players will keep cooler about it that we do bacause they'll need to keep playing their own game. Not particulary impressed by the Pens this far. Holmstrom is the best he is at what he does LEGALLY AND WITHIN THE RULES. But no matter how cleanly he plays in front of the goaltender, he gets goals called back. Bettman, Campbell and Walkom can deny it all they want, but Holmstrom has a target on his back and he simply won't get the benefit of the doubt any longer. Imagine how much Pittsburgh fans would be bitching if Crosby got called for diving any time he fell down on a scoring opportunity? Well, he has/had a reputation for diving, therefore... I thought if the ref's call it even, these are pretty evenly stacked teams and it'll be a good series. His approval rating among the fans has to be 1% or less. No kidding. Why are the finals on a cable channel that not everyone can get? Shouldn't the finals be on nation wide tv? Bettman is a frak'n joke. The first period just reeks of O'Holloran. Why can't they just let them play? The waived off goal? I feel like putting a mob hit on two people right now. Just what Babcock said in Game 4 of the WCF -- don't make things up. It's ridiculous and I'm sure the Wings' front office is going apes*** right now. What makes it even worse is that sequence at the other end of the ice about five minutes later, when Osgood was literally being shoveled into the net.
