It is a beautiful sight to watch USC lose - getting destroyed is even better. As weak as the Pac-10 is this season, one loss may ruin USC's shot at a national championship.

its not over yet for all you haters

I'm so glad the Big 10 doesn't do Thursday night game. I absolutely hate them.

I like that some conferences do them and some don't. Specifically I like that the ACC does them and the Big Ten does not.....that way I get to watch plenty of games from both conferences.

turnovers are absolutely killing Michigan. I am beginning to wonder how they even beat Miami Ohio.

What a comeback! Let the roller coaster ride continue!

(Although I am getting sick and tired of this turnover bulls***....but Michigan has beaten better teams than Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State)

UNBELIEVABLE! I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!

...and I am a Spartan fan.

What an incrediable win for Michigan. I don't even recognize the team that played in the 2nd half. I am used to the team that played in the 1st half. Where the hell did that come from. Wisconsin let Michigan stay in the game and it cost them. I have seen it over and over again.

I propose that Wisconsin not be allowed to be in "Big Ten title talk" until they ACTUALLY win a big game. Time and time again they have a solid team but when needed, they fold and collaspe like they did today.

Enjoy the victory Michigan. I feel dirty now.

I don't even know what to say........

How about "f*** YEAH." Will that do?

Thank God for that, too. It rescued my Saturday.

That was probably the third-toughest game on the Big Ten schedule. Next week is the 5th toughest. Which sucks....I really wish we could get some Hawkeye and Hoosier action on the schedule, but no, we get scrooged by missing out on the two worst teams.

Hey that sounds good to me. I agree on the schedule. They really need one for a better chance to keep improving. Some of those little things, or those STUPID fumbles need to be corrected ASAP! If the defense plays similar to the way they did Saturday, which they should be very capable of doing they will at least be in every game to be in a position to steal some games. It's all on the offense, which by the way needs a RB combo IMO. If you make a McGuffie/Minor or Brown combo you add power to go along with McGuffie's play making ability..

What team? You can't be talking about Florida from last year. Every time Michigan plays USC, its like going thru a buzzsaw.

I was talking about this year, and that Michigan has beaten a top ten opponent while OSU got their ass handed to them and MSU has yet to play one and Penn State beat a somewhat overrated Illinois team.

IMO the pecking order in the B10...

Penn State

Ohio State

Michigan

Michigan State

Wisconsin

Northwestern

Illinois

Minnesota

Indiana

Purdue

Iowa

MSU beat ND, a team that Michigan couldn't beat.

Ohio State is still the team to beat in the Big Ten. I dont see how you can share or win the big ten 3 years in a row and not be the team to beat in the conference.

Becareful of "fool's gold". Wisconsin demise was the simple fact that they could not put Michigan away when they had the chance in the first half. They owned the yardage and controlled most of the game. They practically lived on the michigan side of the field the whole first half. They scored field goals when they should have had touchdowns. Even towards the end when Wisconsin needed to score a TD and 2 pt conversation to tie the game, they marched down the field and scored the TD. If it wasn't for the illegal reciever downfield call (which was a good call just a mental error), the game would have been tied, heading to OT.

Michigan still has to manage some kind of consistant offense this year or this win is just the highlight of a non-bowl year for the Wolverines.

For your ND point...that means nothing now a days in college football. Anyone can beat anybody. Would you put money down Penn State would beat USC this weekend because PSU wasted Oregon State? I know I wouldn't...

I see your point on the fools gold, but you are giving no credit to Michigan's defense. They shut down PJ Hill, they killed Evridge, and were forcing turnovers. The reason they were kicking FG's was because of Michigan's Defense. That whole unit play lights out especially if you consider they were on the field A LOT in horrible situations.

I give credit to Michigan's defense. Take 2 of those early field goals and turn them into touchdowns and the game is not even close....hell take 1 and the outcome is different.

My point is more often then not, you turn over the ball and play that poorly in the first half...you are down much more than just 19-0. Heck I bet that was part of DickRod's halftime speech in that they were only down by that much.

I think every year people jump on the Wisconsin bandwagon and when you really think about it. WHO HAVE THEY BEATEN.. They are big ten's biggest fraud and they should be banned from the top 10 rankings until they beat someone.

I see your point, and Michigan could very well end up finishing third in the conference, but I don't quite agree with your logic. You claim that Penn State has only beaten an "overrated" Illinois team (which is true), but I think you could make a serious argument that Wisconsin fits into that same "overrated" category. Yes, Ohio State got destroyed by USC, but most teams do when they play at the Coliseum. It is still the Buckeyes conference to lose IMO, despite of their "struggles" to this point.

Slightly off-topic, but the whole use of the term overrated really bugs me. Pretty much any highly ranked team that loses gets called overrated. It is just tough to win in college football - teams are competitive almost every week, and any team can win a given game.

I agree with that, but the reason they were not down more then 19-0 is because thats college football, which is why I love it. I said before the game Wisconsin was way overrated, but didn't know if that was enough. Wisky needs to start scheduling someone worth playing in the non conference. I know Fresno State was suppose to change that, but I never bought into that.

I'm not gonna throw stones there....Fresno State is a good matchup, and yeah, Wiscy has some weak nonconference games, but then again Bill Martin was almost directly asked "are we ever gonna see a halfway decent nonconference opponent outside of Notre Dame?" and the answer, basically, was "no." In fact they were looking into scheduling Delaware, which would have been interesting for the helmets but is still a I-AA team.

No game is a guarntee win, even the I-AA teams. Michigan knows that.

Yes very true, and I heard him say that. Thats why I hate that we didn't take a 2 year break from ND. ND is usually a power, or a well above average team, and it's risky scheduling another big time school for the future, with ND already in the fold because you could have 2 loses right off the bat. I also heard Martin talk about Georgia, Texas, and some other powers, but I'm sure the Delaware will happen over those type of teams. I would LOVE to take a short break from ND, and get a home and home with Miami, USC, or Va Tech like OSU is doing. Is ND still going to play Oklahoma even with Michigan on the schedule still?

Well said.
