edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Man can Hossa not buy a break? Good lord that man is been bitten by the bad luck bug... Remember when Hull was stuck for what seemed like forever on goal #699? Hossa's got the same problem, stuck on goal #299. Ugh.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Good save by Ozzie. And then bowled over. And no call. puck was going the other way, what should they have called? this reminds me of last season when the Wings would decide to wake up and play halfway through the third. Sometimes they even won. They got out of that habit by the end of the season, so maybe it's just going to take a little time. I am sure the home fans would like to see a win, however. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 I disliked Kopecky before, but man. He can barely stay up on his skates, and hasnt had one decent hit all season.

ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 correct me if I'm wrong, but if we lose this game, I think we will be the only team winless at home.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Hossas reminding me more of Ray Whitney in 04 at this point. Except even more disappointing here, since Hossa is clearly more talented than Whitney was. Lilja wants a goal too.

Sure, you know, besides being part of our best line last game. I pity you your need for hyperbole in such situations as this. I've never understood why some people would rather be 100% catastrophic rather than only somewhat catastrophic, and why they'll deliberately exaggerate in order to try to force this on other people. I don't know, I just get frustrated. It makes me wonder if they would have called it had the puck been coming at him and then I just make myself angry. It's a vicious cycle I'm stuck in. They got out of that habit by the end of the season, so maybe it's just going to take a little time. it's been like this ever since I watch them play and that would be since about 2002. Scotty Bowman used to lead them to wins in patterns: 3-4 games W, then get some rest - put no effort until late 3rd and if we win then it's cool but nobody's really expecting it the thing is we started this game hard and looked like a team trying to win the contest. we got some unlucky bounces but I see a lot less fire in 3rd than in 1st
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 The Wings are playing now. They come out like this to start the 3rd and we're not worrying about them scoring the tying goal right now.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Go post on another forum, please. This is a Red Wings fan site. Not a site for bandwagon fans that are going to be terribly redundant with stupid comments. Really? Then go watch Columbus. Ass. guys! Stop feeding the troll! Philly, Tampa and Toronto are also winless at home. Not like those three should make us feel any better.

I've never understood why some people would rather be 100% catastrophic rather than only somewhat catastrophic, and why they'll deliberately exaggerate in order to try to force this on other people. Catastrophic? Give it a rest man. I said I dont like Kopecky, yet you interpret that as my need for hyperbole, and how I'm tyring to force this on other people. You could just put me on ignore, because I dislike your posts almost as much as you dislike mine. And something else, i'm not being negative towards this team. I've liked them since I was born, I'm mad because they can be playing better. Just because I'm not Mr Positive all the friggin like you, doesnt mean I think the seasons over. So stop reading my posts as such. Back to the game, finally they call the penalty! Edited October 19, 2008 by Detroit # 1 Fan
