This is how the Wings played during the run to the 07 cup. They won a lot of games, but they spent too much time in their own zone, turning it over. They fixed it last year, but now they are back doing it, again. Maybe they should just watch some game film from last year's playoffs.

Not to be rude, but how does putting Pav and Z back together fix the defense?

nah, I didn't say it would fix the defense, even though both those guys can do a tremendous job defensively.

I'm just saying that I want to see them together again. Hossa and Pav are finding eachother decently enough, but it hurts seeing Z dragged down by Sammy.

Also, I think Hossa and Franzen might be a deadly combination.

As for the defense, I have no idea how to fix that mess.

Samuelsson is lazy. At least 3 or 4 times this game he has slowly skated towards a puck and just tried to stretch out the stick to reel in the puck. Frickin mve your feet like Hank and Hossa are.
