I think every player i despise is on that team. Getzlaf, Perry, Pronger...the list continues. They got rid of the one player i admired....Schneider. The only player i'd trade either of them for would be Iginla or Pavel Bure...since Bure no longer plays, i'd go with Iginla. He's fast, has a laser of a shot, and one hell of a temper. He'd bring the toughness that Detroit lacks and would lead by example. Contemplating that decision he would probably mess up the chemistry in the dressing room though...since he'd be so different than the current makeup of of the team. Or Datsyuk for Crosby for Zetterberg to play with. Would I ever do a combo deal like Datsyuk and Zetterberg for Malkin and Crosby or Ovechkin and Semin? NOPE. Agreed on that part, I don't want a player like that on my team. I wouldn't trade Datsyuk for really anyone, Crosby whines too much to the refs when his team is down, maybe Ovechkin if he works on his defense some. Datsyuk is one of the most consistent players in the league and is always healthy. Zetterberg I would be able to let go if the player(s) we got in return were good enough. Zata is easier to unload for me due to the fact he is injury prone and his back has not shown it can last a whole season. I would possibly trade him for, and I hate myself for this, a Phanuef. To be honest, I think Z and Pasha's abilities better suit this team, but at 21 and 23, those two are just too good at too young an age to really pass up. Guys like Semin, Lecavalier, and Malkin are intriguing as well. There are a couple young defensemen that I really like too, including Doughty and Phaneuf, but I wouldn't trade either of the Euro Twins for them. The guy has had a great start to the season, but prior to this year he's been inconsistent, injury prone, and relatively one-dimensional. Not a chance in hell I would trade either of Z or D for him. I think Zetterberg is the best player in the league, and Datsyuk is right there behind him. Edit: Zetterberg, in my opinion, has been the best player since the lockout.
