the third goal was a freebie, but im not ready to hang conks for the other two...either way, our goaltending is a friggin liability, and we need to fix the problem soon, not at the trade deadline...this is getting humiliating...our team defense is something close to, if not in, the bottom third...this is wack wings hockey...boo

The only remedy I can think of that might, MIGHT help this year and putting Z and Datsyuk back together. Because I think these new lines are just causing confusion. I don't give a f*** about Hossa. Put him with Franzen and whoever. If he's not putting up points, I don't care because he's not coming back next year.

Watching that 3rd goal against from Toews, what the hell was Conklin thinking. If I was a conspiracist I'd say he wanted to give Toews the go-ahead goal. Thats how bad it looked. How do you f*** that up?

Because, you know, there are OT and SOLs in the playoffs. And the shoddy teams we've been beating up on are going to be there in the playoffs to give us that pretty record we have.

Conklin has been a disappointment this year.

Last year he came in for Fleury and was awesome for the Pens. That was why Holland signed him, and it obviously hasn't carried over into this season.

If he was a bit taller, then that move would have made sense. He had no business going down so early.

all our games are like this. Great offenses but horrible 3rd pair of defenses and unstable goalie..

Huh? The 3rd pairing is +1 tonight. Lidstrom's pk pairing was on the ice for both pk goals. Like it or not- the defensive issues are top down.

And to be fair- the first two goals were very nice plays. Conklin should've had that third goal- but any goalie is entitled to a the odd "should've had it" goal. So far Conklin's made more great saves than he's made mistakes.

The BS "catch-up penalties" are to blame right now. Both those penalties were asinine calls.

The Hawks played the last ten mins like they wanted it. That's the difference.

Yeah I know.. that was a bad choice of words.. but we really are finding ways to lose we just arent losing... I mean these are just regular season games against mediocre opponents so I dont even want to think what good, hungry teams will do to us in the playoffs when we play like this..
