Awesome line, I'm loving it.

Agreed. They had a lot of jump and looked exactly like they did in the playoffs last season. If all 3 lines are clicking then there is no issue. This would be a puck possession team again with less than 2 goals scored against.

good news....during wings games i turn my xbox 360 on and put NHL09 in. I set the lines and goalies to exactly what the teams have tonight. I let the game play while i watch the wings game, and period for period...it has been right so far. I mean it didn't have the same goals or same people scoring, but the score after 1 was 2-2 and the scoring order was the same. after the 2nd 3-3. and in the 3rd, the kings took a 4-3 lead just 3 minutes in. 2 minutes later, pavs made a beautiful setup to hossa who roofed it to tie it up. For the rest of the period, the wings seemed to frustrate the kings as they took 4 penalties which the wings couldn't score on. 4 minutes left in the game, Kings take another penalty. Pavs again, sets up hossa for a great pass. Hossa rips it from the right faceoff dot, and homer puts his stick on it, and knocks it down through the 5 hole and in. 5-4 wings Shortly after, dustin brown gets a breakaway on a weird bounce off the boards....he goes in and makes an AMAZING deke, but conks stays with him and ABSOLUTELY ROBS HIM. 134 left, the kings pull quick.....the kings take a shot on conks and go for a linechange....conklin takes notice and fires it up the ice to a waiting henrik zetterberg who nets the open netter for the 6-4 win.

Lets hope its as accurate on the 3rd as it was on the first 2

OMG, this is creepy! :scared:

Quick played well for the Kings and our defense seemed a little off at times which made this one a little uncomfortable but they got it done.

GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess we should have guessed the Wings would give up 3+ goals after just coming off a shutout. It would be too much to ask this team to have 2 consecutive games where they play solid defensively.

It looks like Babcock has lost control of this team's ability to play well defensively. At this point the players are content with playing wide open offensive games as long as they're winning. The problem with this approach is that it doesn't tend to work very well in the playoffs.

Cleary clutch when it counts. That line as a whole had so much jump tonight, I've done a total 180 on Hudler, he's the s***.

This is no surprise to give up so many goals, its the King. This is the mentality the players have, unfortunately. It'll be different against tough teams and rivals, but for now I'm just happy to know we can score 5 or 6 any given night, when we want.

Time to push the panic button right?

I wouldn't hang much for the 4 goals on Conks. On 2 of them, he was interfered with, one of them in particular very obviously. Thriller of a game, but if the officiating had been up to par, it would have been 5-6 to 2.

When they needed to turn it on and play well defensively, they did. They beat the best team in the NHL 6-0. No need to push the panic button. Just relax, watch the rest of the season, and ***** if this happens in the playoffs. Okay?

Didn't catch the game, how bad was the officiating?

They called about 3 non-calls, pretty terrible

I don't see why redmond is calling for a penalty on that. The guy took the puck from him, therefore it isn't interference...maaaybe, you can argue he used his forearm a little, but really, he just put the guy in his place, that's hockey.
