You guys do realize Conks is supposed to be a back-up goaltender. He's expected to let those in once in a while. Osgood, our main goaltender, lets more of those in then not.

That was actually Osgood. He's the reason for all suffering in this world.

I'm not saying Conklin is the next Brodeur and he'll ride in on a skittle crapping unicorn and save the day. However, I KNOW that Osgood does NOT have it, and so we have NOTHING to lose going with Conklin who has looked better overall this year.

There should not be any bashing of Osgood either. You know why? Because there was no bashing of Conklin after he got us into that Nashville situation. That just proves that Osgood bashing is done has nothing to do with reason or logic.

Not defending Conklin here, but Ozzie is our number 1 goalie, so playing this bad for this long, is not acceptable.

My view on the goaltending is this :

Its the d-men's job to play defense !

Its the forwards job's to either score goals and get points or be checkers etc...

Its a plumbers job to fix your pipes !!

Its a electrician's job to wire your house !!

Its the goalies f***in job to stop the puck !!

Chris Osgood is not stoping pucks...End of story !! Whether he's getting much help or not he has to make some big saves... He is not !!
