Yea cause unlike some of the tools on the FSN staff (Murphy, Keating) Mickey ALWAYS tells it how it is. He NEVER sugar coats anything. Murphy started talking when the score was 7-2 that if they could score it'd be a game again. During this you could hear Mickey chuckling in the background.

This has been answered numerous times in this thread, the reason people don't jump on Conklin is:

1. He's a backup. Doesn't have the same high expectations.

2. His numbers are MUCH better this year.

3. He's generally played pretty well, Osgood has almost ALWAYS played poorly.

Oh and Electrophile, keep telling yourself that for now, give it 3 or 4 years and then the proof will be undeniable.

So we had, what- 46 shots? Were the shots that bad, or was Mason that good? You'd think with 46, more than 2 would have gone in, wouldn't you?

To be honest, it looked like we were trying to win a 5-4 game from the start. The defense was ATROCIOUS. Ozzy's 6th and 7th goal were weak. Conklin's goal was weak. But really, it was over at 5-1 anyway.

Terrible, terrible game overall. Mason was good, but we didn't have the chances you'd expect from 46 shots.
