Well folks, that is the game. Wings gave it a good effort for 20 minutes of a 60 minute game. Mustering one goal is not going to win too many games. I just want to go pound someone. I know the wings played poor, but they still had a chance and the refs blew it. Way to go. I thought these refs were suppose to be the elite of the league. Ugh.

How many of us are going to wake up super tired and crabby.

The intent is irrelevant. That whistle should NOT HAVE BEEN BLOWN, period. The puck was loose in the crease. He should NOT have blown that whistle.

I'm not one to lay blame for losing on the refs, and clearly had we showed for up for the full 60 minutes, we wouldn't have needed that goal.

But still, to giftwrap this game to the ducks like that is absolutely horrible. I thought the ref's job was to watch the puck, and know where it is at all times. Why is it that the only person in the building (other than Hiller) who DIDN'T know where the puck was is the Ref deep in the zone?

Absolute worst excuse for officiating I have seen in the playoffs thus far.

But I'm more pissed that in a pivotal game like this, we didn't really show up until midway through the 2nd period.

Sore winners, sore losers. The Ducks should be thankful this is a classy team who doesn't just take a two hander to their face. As much as it would feel good as a fan I'm glad they have cooler heads. They just have to win and take advantage of opportunities. The Wings are making this harder on themselves and are beating themeslves.
